Julius Baer appoints Jean-Marc Suter as Head of Abu Dhabi representative office

Zurich/Abu Dhabi, 30 November 2008 —- Julius Baer has appointed Jean-Marc Suter as the Head of its Abu Dhabi representative office, effective 1 January 2009. He will join Julius Baer from UBS, where he is the Senior Representative at its Abu Dhabi office. Prior to assuming this role, Jean-Marc Suter was Chief Representative at Credit Suisse in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. He also held senior positions in wealth management with a focus on the Middle East at Credit Agricole Indosuez and served as a Vice President in the Middle East department of Credit Suisse in Geneva.

The Julius Baer representative office in Abu Dhabi serves as a point of contact to introduce private banking clients to the range of services offered by Julius Baer around the globe. It also allows Julius Baer to strengthen its links with local market participants and to gather first-hand information in order to identify new investment opportunities.
