Andrew Look is to provide consultancy services to both UBS Wealth Management and UBS Investment Bank.

UBS Hong Kong today announced Andrew LOOK, currently Head of HK Research, Strategy and Product, will provide consultancy services to the firm’s wealth management and equities business, effective from August.

“Andrew’s appointment represents a unique collaboration between UBS’s Wealth Management and Investment Bank’s equity business units,” said Min PARK, Head of Asian Equity Risk Management Products, UBS Investment Bank.

As one the region’s most experienced and respected strategists, he has been ranked by Asiamoney as Hong Kong’s top analyst for six of the past seven years.

“In light of the high esteem in which Andrew is held by our clients and others throughout the investment community, we are confident that our continued partnership with Andrew will be beneficial for our clients,” added Amy LO, Regional Market Manager, Hong Kong, UBS Wealth Management.

Andrew joined UBS in June 2000 after spending 15 years in the banking, property development and fund management industries. Previously, he was the regional director of PPM Worldwide, the fund management arm of the Prudential Corporation of the United Kingdom, where he managed pension and life insurance funds investing in Asia ex-Japan markets.

Andrew’s successor as Head of Research, Strategy and Product in the Investment Bank will be named in due course.
