Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch & Cie is opening a new branch in Fribourg this fall. It will be run by Philippe Broillet, who will manage a four-strong team. “Our Fribourg office will uphold the traditions which our Firm has followed for more than 210 years – anticipating the needs of our clients and offering not only private banking and institutional portfolio management but also end-to-end wealth management services by drawing on our local and international network,” explained Bernard Droux, Managing Partner in charge of developing the Firm’s institutional client base.

By establishing an office in the heart of the city of Fribourg, Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch & Cie is responding to the needs of its clients for a presence in the area. Given the banking environment in Fribourg, it is confident that it has the capacity to differentiate itself from the competition through its client-oriented structure, human scale, proven expertise and special organizational model that promotes considerable decision-making autonomy. “We have the advantage of being close to our clients while also having the ability to mobilize our highly qualified specialists from around the world,” said Anne-Marie de Weck, Managing Partner in charge of the Group’s Private Clients Unit.

Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch & Cie is also alert to the dynamic nature of the canton, as evidenced by the numerous multinational companies that are located within its borders. “We have faith in Fribourg’s potential. We intend to live up to our responsibility as a representative and supporter of the local economy. Our objective as private bankers is to offer solutions with superior added value in a region that is constantly evolving,” added Anne-Marie de Weck.

The presence of Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch & Cie in Fribourg marks a new step in its expansion strategy in French-speaking Switzerland and reinforces the objectives that the Firm announced last year when it celebrated 125 years in the city of Lausanne.
