Credit Suisse strengthens commitment to the Midlands with a new office in Birmingham

Credit Suisse is pleased to announce the opening of an office in Birmingham. The establishment of the new office confirms Credit Suisse’s long-term commitment to the importance of our clients in the Midlands region. This regional expansion in the United Kingdom is part of Credit Suisse’s overall growth strategy in its private banking business.

This office will allow the bank to be even closer to its clients in the Midlands, providing them with comprehensive financial services from its global platform. Credit Suisse has expanded its presence in the UK regions over the past five years. In addition to its main UK office in London, Credit Suisse offers private banking services from its regional team to clients in The Midlands, The North, Thames Valley, South-East, South-West and East Anglia.

In the Midlands, Credit Suisse has observed an increase in the number of entrepreneurs, family businesses and professionals in this region who require high-quality, tailor-made investment solutions.

Amrit Uppal, the new Head of the Midlands, will be based at the new office in Birmingham along with four Relationship Managers, who have been covering the region for the past two years. They will continue to serve private clients throughout the East and West Midlands. Amrit joined Credit Suisse in 2006. He is a highly experienced wealth manager who has been covering the Midlands for the past eight years. Amrit is very familiar with the Midlands, as he is from the region and has been working there for over 12 years.
