U.S. Trust Expands Team in Boston

BOSTON (May 14, 2008) – U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management today announced four appointments in Boston, Mass. Since 2007, U.S. Trust has hired more than 250 talented, client-facing professionals throughout the country – with these new hires bringing the total number of additions in New England to nearly 20 in the last nine months alone. These appointees are responsible for providing personal, customized solutions and services to help wealthy individuals and families address their complex wealth management objectives.

Charles Lavrentios, Taylor Morrison and Christian Stone have been appointed private client managers and Joseph Fischer has been appointed wealth strategies advisor. Based in Boston, Lavrentios, Morrison and Stone will report to U.S. Trust Boston City Executive, Carolyn Macedo. Also based in Boston, Fischer will report to U.S. Trust New England Wealth Strategies Executive, Henry Greenberg.
These appointees deepen the talent and expertise U.S. Trust offers clients in this market and across the country and bring with them a wide range of relevant experience:
- Lavrentios joins U.S. Trust from Bank of America Premier Banking & Investments (PB&I) where he served as assistant market manager. In that role, he developed strategies, processes, partnerships and routines to help teams of Premier Banking client managers and Banc of America Investment Services, Inc. (BAI) financial advisors to meet the integrated banking and investment needs of affluent clients.
- Morrison, a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), joins U.S. Trust from PB&I where he served as senior client manager. In this role, he provided affluent clients with comprehensive financial strategies and access to customized credit, deposit and investment solutions from Bank of America and BAI.
- Fischer joins U.S. Trust from PricewaterhouseCoopers where he served as director. In that role, he provided wealth transfer and tax planning solution strategies to high-net-worth individuals.
- Stone also joins U.S. Trust from PB&I where he served as a client manager and was responsible for providing affluent clients with comprehensive financial strategies and access to customized credit, deposit and investment solutions from Bank of America and BAI.
