Appointment of Bruno Lèbre as Global Head of Investment Solutions at SG Private Banking

Bruno Lèbre has been appointed Global Head of the Investment Solutions division of SG Private Banking. The role of the Investment Solutions division is to define and co-ordinate the private bank’s investment strategy and develop the range of products available to its customers. To this end, Bruno Lèbre chairs an investment committee of analysts and portfolio managers, which determines the main objectives of the investment policy applicable to the whole of SG Private Banking’s worldwide network.

The Investment Solutions division also carries out the selection and corresponding advisory services with regard to mutual funds, hedge funds, structured products, private equity funds and real estate investments. Product selection by dedicated centres of expertise is carried out on the basis of open architecture. This approach combines both quantitative and qualitative criteria to offer clients a wide range of investment products from the best institutions in the world and meets the bank’s high standards of financial advice and impartiality.

This division is also in charge of cash and exchange activities.

The expertise of SG Private Banking’s Investment Solutions teams receives regular recognition from the financial industry. Most notably, SG Private Banking was voted “Best Private Bank for its Offer in Structured Products worldwide” for three consecutive
years (Euromoney 2007, 2006 and 2005) and was awarded “Outstanding Private Bank for its offer in Alternative Investments” (Private Banker International 2007).

Bruno Lèbre, 44, has a post-graduate degree in IT from the University of Paris VII. He began his career with Société Générale in 1988 as an Internal Auditor. In 1995, he was promoted to the position of Head of Finance and Administration, then to Deputy
General Manager of Société Générale Bank and Trust’s subsidiaries in Switzerland. In 1998, he became Head of Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking’s Swiss branch and, in 2000, was made Chairman and CEO of Lyxor Asset Management. In 2004, Bruno Lèbre was appointed Global Head of Hedge Fund Relations at Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking.
